Thankful for classic New Jersey food

Being in this part of New Jersey means so much to our family and staff. For over 30 years, we’ve experienced all the beauty and memories that come with the four seasons, and we’ve enjoyed food from so many different cultures—Italian, German, Greek, Indian, American, and flavors from across South and Central America.

Growing up here, we’ve shared countless meals at local diners like Prestige Diner, Summit Diner, Broadway Diner, and Old Glory Diner. These spots, and others like Union Diner and Scotchwood Diner, have left us with warm memories of what makes New Jersey so special—great food and even better connections with people.

At Marcy’s Kitchen, we’re proud to add to that tradition by sharing authentic Mexican food in a warm, clean, and consistent environment. We offer tacos, burritos, empanadas, guacamole and chips, and quesadillas. While some ingredients may be unique to our cuisine, our focus is always on double-checking the quality of everything we serve. We are mainly a take-out restaurant.

Marcy, Hector, their two sons, and their families have lived, worked, and built relationships in New Jersey their entire lives. This state is full of hardworking, talented people who care deeply about their neighbors, and we’re honored to be a part of that.

Every guest who visits Marcy’s Kitchen becomes part of our story, and we can’t wait to welcome you in. Come share a meal with us—it’s our way of celebrating the community we’re so proud to call home.

Marcy’s Kitchen: Fresh Flavors, Fall Updates, and Exciting Partnerships in the Heart of New Jersey!

Hi there,

Thank you so much for following and supporting Marcy’s Kitchen in Gillette, NJ! As a family rooted in New Jersey, we’re incredibly proud of where we’ve come and grateful to engage with all our guests, partners, and community connections.

The summer flew by, but it was wonderful to hear about all the parties and events where our products, like guacamole and chips, trays of tacos, and quesadillas, played a part. It’s always exciting to be involved in the celebrations we’ve loved for years! Marcy’s Kitchen is growing, and we’re excited for what’s ahead. For example, we've deepened our partnerships with local NJ breweries like Twin Elephant, Autodidact, and Oakflower Brewing, and we've started delivering to the Berkeley Heights Pool Club with Mexican Chicken Salads, Guac, and Chips. We look forward to continuing these collaborations into Summer 2025!

If you know any businesses or venues that could benefit from fresh snacks like ours, please connect us—we’d love to expand further into the community.

As fall approaches, that means football Sundays, the return of school, and a renewed sense of purpose to deliver authentic Mexican food to our community in a warm, clean, and consistent way. We’re excited to announce that we’re opening up on Sundays again, and we’re also resuming our partnership with two Long Hill Schools, delivering fresh food to students every Wednesday. We’re proud to offer healthier alternatives to some of the overly processed options in school cafeterias—less sugar, less salt, and more love in every bite!

Looking ahead, we’ve got some exciting updates in store. This fall, we’re rolling out a couple of self-service kiosks, implementing a fresh KDS system to streamline our ticketing, and adding a few much-needed pieces of equipment to help our kitchen staff improve cooking times. While we’re not necessarily competing with the soon-to-arrive Taco Bell (we all know it’s fast and cheap but not exactly the healthiest option), we are committed to growing in a way that reflects what our customers want and value here in this wonderful community.

Stay tuned for more updates by following us on Instagram @MarcysKitchen. Cheers to a fantastic fall!

Sincerely, The Marcy’s Kitchen Team
