About
Marcy's Kitchen opened in October 2018 and is located in Gillette, New Jersey. Since then, Mexican kitchen connoisseurs Marcela Navarrete and Hector Jimenez have been serving both quality interpretations of classic dishes and daring new ventures into the uncharted territories of food.
Marcy's Kitchen interior, designed as a reflection of a kitchen in Puebla, Mexico, reflects the comfortable sensibilities of a home cooked meal while also paying tribute to Puebla's artisanal storied past. citrus pulled pork tacos
Enjoy our Yucatan-inspired citrus pulled pork tacos (officially known as “Cochinita Pibil tacos”)! We prepare juicy pork by marinating it in a flavorful mix of achiote paste and citrus juice. Slow-cooked, the pork gets to a soft, high tenderness level. Originating from the Yucatan region, these tacos have a delicious combo of citrusy and earthy flavors, bringing a bit of Mayan tradition to your plate.
Served with fresh, hand-cut habanero pepper slices, tangy pickled red onions, and limes to round out the taste.
Moderately spicy, but you be the judge!
